About Sport Search UK
Sport Search UK is an online database of clubs, coaches, lessons, facilities and officials in the UK.
Because at Sport Search we know that UK sport is predominantly made up of amateur clubs that are run by volunteers, we have designed this website to try and make the running of these clubs that little bit easier.
The site gives each club an online presence allowing them to attract new members if desired, whilst also allowing clubs to better manage their current club contacts and find relevant facilities in which to train and compete.
Sport Search UK also allows clubs to advertise and fill positions for new coaches without the need for expensive advertising in national magazines.
Future Plans For Sport Search UK
Events
In the future Sport Search UK is hoping to host and sponsor some UK sporting competitions. These will hopefully cover a range of sports and areas.
Funding
If there is one thing that all clubs could do with more of it is funding. Funding pays for the training, coaches and equipment that all clubs use. The problem is that funding is not very easy to get a hold of and there is a limit to how much people will pay for club fees. At Sport Search UK we hope to develop some ways in which clubs are able to bring in more funding to help pay for the running of their organisation and provide a better all-round training environment for their athletes.
