Upon creating an account with SportsearchUK you are required to provide certain areas of information, depending on the type of account you with to create. A name, valid e-mail address and contact number are required for all account types. Other mandatory requirements are as follows:
Club
Site activity
We may keep track of any actions you make on SportsearchUK. An example of this kind of action would be uploading new photos or joining a club.
Browser information
When you access SportsearchUK from a computer, mobile phone etc. we may collect information from that device such as browser type, location and pages you visit

The Sport Search UK website uses cookies in order to make the running of the site smoother & faster. These cookies will be used for no other reason and by using the site you are agreeing to allow the site to do this
When you ‘join’ a club it is possible for that club to export your contact information via a spreadsheet. Once this has been done SportsearchUK is no longer liable for the use of that information.

When you click on a link in SportsearchUK, for example a club website link, you may be redirected away from our site. SportsearchUK is not responsible for the privacy policies of other websites so we recommend reading their policy before continuing.
Information we gather from each account is used to directly improve the service we deliver to the account holders. An example of this would be collecting valid e-mail accounts for each account to prevent the opening of spam accounts.
To contact you
We may use your contact information to send out e-mails such as updates etc. you may opt-out of all e-mails except essential updates on your account.
To distribute personalised advertising messages
We do not share any of your personal account information to advertisers without your permission. We also endeavour to send any advertisements ourselves, rather than let the advertiser send them.
Athlete’s profiles are not searchable by the general public. Other accounts, however, are searchable by the general public. In order to give accurate search results we use some of the accounts profile information such as sport and location.
Transfer in the event of sale
In the event that the ownership or control of SportsearchUK is transferred then all information will be transferred with it
You may change or delete your profile information at any time by simply clicking ‘Edit my profile’ in the profile window. You can alter most information but some information we require is mandatory for the continued running of the site and therefore can’t be removed.
Deactivating or deleting an account
Upon deactivating an account the information is not deleted, the account is suspended and the information kept on file. This is to help for future reactivation. If you would like your information to be deleted from our servers please e-mail info@sportsearchuk.com
